Comparing Saw to RL
Copyright OaH Productions |
Have you seen the movie Saw?
You should see the series if you aren't faint at heart. I would classify the series as Scary with lots of gore.
I happen to enjoy the series because of the life lessons they teach.
Victim-They'll never know I stole all this money from the company...mauahahahahahaha.
Saw-Oh we found you
Victim-pwnd
and we got to remember people that these are just movies. They are life lessons we need to know about, because frankly it is annoying reading and experiencing all these "unfortunate events" that we have no control over. When really we do. We just don't need to approach them so drastically and slaughter someone. Because sometimes a simple "Hey I don't agree" will be sufficient. And if that doesn't work.... have someone join you and go " Hey We don't agree."
But the real lesson about this movie is
Don't be a Saw victim
Be nice to others and they will hopefully not tell on you
Christmas gifts on a tight budget #2
I went Christmas shopping! I went to our local St.Vincent De Paul thriftstore and got some great deals on 8 cookies tins. They were having a 50%off sale so i managed to get them all for less than $1! I also got some a handful of Xmas decorations, and candle holders. And even a mini muffin tray that bakes 24 muffins for only $3.50!
I spent $13.00 :)
I went to Beverly's for some crafts items. They had all of their halloween merchandise for 90% off and I was able to get some Fake eyelashes on the side.....but I did get these awesome glitter spiderweb scrapbook pages which I will have my brothers help me cutout snowflakes to decorate the house with.
I spent $10 at Beverly's
December 1st $23 out of $150
Pictures soon!

Christmas gifts on a tight budget #1
http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=christmas+cookies#/d1rvghj |
It's Xmas time and there are only 26 days left until Xmas day! We are going to be having our Xmas eve celebration at my house this year. I am going to make Xmas happen with only a $150 dollar budget. When I say $150 I mean $150 for EVERYTHING. I will record for all of you to see everything that I spend money on.
The things I will spend money on are
Homemade Xmas Gifts
Xmas Decorations for home
Xmas dinner
Xmas Tree & Decorations
Some materials I already have such as some gift supplies (ingredients, and extra wrapping paper and such)
Homemade gift #1-Baked Goodies
What better way to spread love and joy then through cookies!? Even better, SNICKERDOODLES
I found a few good recipes such as The Elves Snickerdoodles that are simple to make and can be made in large quantities.
Stay tuned for my next post to see how these turned out!
- Ingredients
- 2-1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- Colored sugar or edible glitter
- Instructions
- Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg into a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the shortening and butter. Gradually mix in the sugar. Beat in the egg until blended, then the sour cream, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
- With a wooden spoon, stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture half at a time, until evenly mixed. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Shortly before baking heat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease one or two large cookie sheets, or line them with parchment paper. Put the decorative sugar into small bowls.
- With lightly floured hands, shape the dough into 1-1/2-inch-thick balls. Roll the balls in the colored sugar and place them on the prepared baking sheets spaced about 3 inches apart. Bake the cookies on the center oven rack for 15 to 18 minutes, until they're a light golden brown. Cool the cookies on the sheet for 2 to 3 minutes. Then use a spatula to transfer them to a wire rack to finish cooling. Makes about 24 cookies.

It's Laundry time!
Laundry time!
I'ts laundry time! I'm broke so I had to bring out the big yellow plastic crayon for quarters... I could walk down to the bank and get a roll of quarters, buts that TEN DOLLARS. That is a lot of money that I just don't have right now. I'm sure many people feel the same way.
Which is why I recommend the big plastic yellow crayon.
The responsibility crayon |
1.Cut a big hole at the bottom so that you can take change out when needed.
2. Change IS money
3. Throw all your change in there (I keep mine upside down to avoid putting in one coin at a time)
4. Use it only when you have a responsibility to attend, such as laundry.
It's great because for some of us that can't wait until the crayon is full to take money out
We don't need to feel bad about it.
I was able to get enough for FOUR loads of laundry in a matter of only 2 minutes.

Can you relate?
They just want to help... Afterwards she's going to be screaming at him "Why did you leave me alone?!" We all know women don't really mean that. They just say it to test the men. He failed muahahhaa. |
Is it really necessary? You've got to give it to him though, at least he remembered :D |
Reaching for your Gift This reminds me of Animal Crossing XD |
Unexpected Swan Now replace the duck, with that one person ;D |
why do people hate all the time
"But Billy already tried that once and it didn't work"
Who cares if Billy tried it first? Maybe he sucked at it and I can do it better.... but of course thats where the "respect your elders and others" part comes in. You can't tell them that because then they will see you as being stuck-up or that you're way in over your head.
The reality of it is. You need to be a hacker in your own terms. Hackers get what they want not by telling the world that they are going to go out there and TRY and do it. They just attempt it and if they succeed then they are in. If they don't...well it's back to drawing out their plan to try again.
Don't tell someone they can't do something, even if your completely sure they will fail. You only live once and until you die you DON'T KNOW what comes next. Enjoy your life :)

The first of many
Shut Up Child! Teh Guvanahs Coming! |
I bet you that poor child said nothing. and yet he's getting the punished! Poor, poor child. If you're wondering where this fabulous drawing came from it was drawn by my amateur yet skilled brother OaH. Robotchick and OaH have been around for quite some time now. Always lurking in the shadows awaiting for our moment to
Anyway...(I will ramble on occasion) That child is me and OaH is the dude on the left, the guy who just watches but can't say anything. I don't mind taking the blame for anything, I figure, why fight it? A little smack to the face never hurt anyone. Wrong. Over time I'll "release" some more interesting information I believe people should honestly hear. You will want to stayed tuned.
As for OaH, I will be posting more of his awesome artwork.
It's worth following.
