Rosewater Mini Spa

Has anyone heard of the Shellac Manicure?
^^^
This picture pretty much sums it up.

I am an avid nail polish freak, well I was until I had my daughter and my collection of polish started drowning. Every time that I wanted to kick back and do my nails this little almost-two year old would start "oooing and ahhing." It was cute but OH so very distracting. Especially with her needed to point and touch the undried nails. Then her curiousity would kick in and I'd reach to grab the nail polish from her hand (that she grabbed while the cap was still off of course). Than I would brush my fingers against SOMETHING. For some reason I never knew what that something was. Now I have an imprinted something on my nails. Sure it's do it yourself and cheap, but in the end I end up acetoning my nails after a day or two because I can't stand the imperfect dents and scratches on my nails.
And than a miracle happened....

I was working while a wonderful couple came in to buy some coffee. In case you didn't know Petaluma Coffee Company is the Shi** and by that I mean the best. Yeah I said it :)

Any-who the lovely lady named Lisa observed my horrible nail job that had a  selective choice of color.
(If my nails are painted chances are it is going to be something out there)

-She told me about the new Shellac Manicure they are offering at the Rosewater Mini Spa.
- She told me of how it will blow me away at how much better it looks than a regular manicure.
-She told me how much classier it will look than acrylic.
-She told me how it was a BRAND NEW METHOD.
-Time to be an innovator.
-I had to see it to believe it.

I scheduled on appointment on Thursday. They actually care and don't want to shoo you in 15minutes so it's best to have an appointment.
 I couldn't believe my eyes.
My nails were was silky and not bulgy (like acrylic) and sooooo smooth, shiny but not oily. If I was a business woman I would be stoked!
Actually, I was quite surprised at the burst of self-esteem I got from having my nails look
so damn good

That picture up there may be photo shopped, but it doesn't lie. I left my camera in a friends car (I am quite forgetful....) but I will post pictures as soon as I go and get it!

The little Spa where I got the manicure done is at this lovely place called

Rosewater Mini Spa
855 Lakeville St
Ste 108

PetalumaCA 94952
(707) 769-8637

I wrote them a review too! The manicure is $45 which seems pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. The Shellac Manicure would make a wonderful gift to someone that you think deserves something better than a $20 manicure that will chip in 3 days. Trust me the person who you gift this too will tell all your friends about how wonderful you are and how unselfish you are.
It's a new generation, a generation of giving.
 Give someone a Shellac Manicure
Give yourself a Shellac Manicure.
I plan on giving my mommy one for her birthday :)
